Joyful Juniper was inspired from a need to have a simple moisturizing soap that smells good with aromas sourced locally - like from farm property. The juniper leaves were grown and crushed on site and added into our sudsy, conditioning and simple soap recipe. Additionally, this bar was made around Christmas time. I wanted to extend the season's greetings into soap.
This batch, #004, contains the following ingredients: Lard (from our pastured pigs), Water, Coconut Oil, Sodium Hydroxide (Lye), Castor Oil, Juniper Leaves, Beeswax, & Honey
