There is just one price for everything included: (1) a quarter share of pastured raised pig and (2) processing costs.
So let's get started.

  1. You add this item to your cart with your preferences for packages described below and complete payment for your order for your pastured pig.
  2. We will bring the pigs to the processer/ butcher, Arapahoe Meat Company in Lafayette, CO (around the last week of June 2024)
  3. We will pick up the order and arrange with you a time and place to either deliver the order to you or for you to pick up the order in the front range of Boulder County (ie, Longmont, Boulder, Niwot, Gunbarrel, Lafayette, Louisville, Superior, or Erie)

When will it be ready?
February or March 2025

How much meat will it be? How much freezer space do I need?
Each quarter share of grass-fed, soy-free, corn-free, non-gmo pork yields about 30-40 pounds of finished, packaged pork, requiring approximately 1.5 cubic feet of freezer space.

What are my package options?
We have 3 packages options that we can fulfill with our processor. Please pick 2 out of the 3 packages below that sound good to you and we will match your interest with another customer who will also pick 2 out of the 3 options. This ensures that each household gets something that they like.

Package #1 - "The Make it Easy Package" geared for contemporary convenience
  • Pork chops: boneless with standard thickness
  • Shoulder: steaks with standard thickness
  • Ribs: you will receive either (a) spare ribs OR (b) country ribs
  • Sausage: Italian Sausage as links
  • Ham: cured roasts
  • Bacon: cured with medium thickness
  • Anything left over as unseasoned ground pork in 1 pound bags


Package #2 - "The Classic Package" geared for a touch of how traditional meat choices
  • pork chops: bone in with standard thickness
  • Shoulder: 2-3 pound roasts and steaks with standard thickness
  • Ribs: you will receive either (a) spare ribs OR (b) country ribs
  • Sausage: Bulk (1lb meat packaged in a plastic roll) as (a) Country Seasoned and (b) Italian Sausage
  • Ham: cured roasts and ham hocks if available
  • Bacon: cured with medium thickness
  • Anything left over as unseasoned ground pork in 1 pound bags


Package #3 - "The "Hurried Historian Package" geared as a mix of favoring the classic choices yet realistically needing to prepare food in a reasonable amount of time.
  • Pork chops: bone in with standard thickness
  • Shoulder meat: 2-3 pound roasts and steaks with standard thickness
  • Ribs: you will receive either (a) spare ribs OR (b) country ribs
  • Sausage: Bulk (1lb meat packaged in a plastic roll) as (a) Italian Seasoned and (b) plain - no seasoning
  • Ham: cured roasts and ham hocks if available
  • Bacon: cured with medium thickness
  • Anything left over as unseasoned ground pork in 1 pound bags
