Yep. We've got rotationally grazed, pastured poultry,
laying fresh eggs with dark juicy yolks
A farm that supports people to (a) reclaim their health,
(b) enjoy classic and clean food, and (c) experience more wonder and wellness
Food at the grocery store seems to be getting worse. It seems like forever chemicals, pesticides, GMO’s, chronic diseases, and prices are increasing, while small local farms, nutritional content and natural flavors in our foods are decreasing.

That's leaving concerned families and communities around me frustrated and concerned about our conventional food system. I mean, "What’s going on here. What’s really in our food?"
I believe most people want to feel good about the food they eat.

At Hoedown Farm, we collaborate with creation to grow good food to support people on their journey to (a) reclaim their health, (b) enjoy classic and clean food, and (c) experience more wonder and wellness.

In particular, we offer pastured eggs from chickens and ducks that get outside every day in our fields, exercising, eating plants, bugs, non-gmo feed, and kitchen scraps. We also offer food-based tips and insights to support your transformation into a more healthy and confident food buyer and cook.
Why should I choose your eggs?
  • Our layers are fed Non-GMO, no corn, no soy grains
Cracked grains are a staple of their diet. Our chickens and ducks are thriving with non gmo blend of triticale, wheat, oat, rye, and barley, from a local farmer and mill. No filler, no fluff, and no powdered dust
  • Our eggs are fresh and local egg
Since our birds live here, eating local bugs and grain from the local farmer and mill. you get fresh eggs. supporting a local farm, small business and economy.
  • Pastured, rotational grazing
Chickens don't graze grass like cows, but we do rotate their grassy fields (aka paddocks). We provide 4 dedicated paddocks for our layers and they have access to 1 paddock at a time. This allows the land the rest, enabling the bugs, grass and plants to regenerate and provide the chickens more meals
  • Our layers eat colorful kitchen scraps
Finally, we balance out their diet with kitchen scraps (aka precompost). This offers them a full array of colors and options, including fruits and vegetable, which are loaded with polyphenols.
  • Your are connected with a farm
In today's high tech low, touch world, it feels good to have a connection to natural things, like knowing from where your eggs came
